Are you interested in the world of nuclear electricity? Cofek, in partnership with Nuclear Power and Energy Agency (NuPEA) will host a stakeholder forum in Kilifi County on June 6 from 8.30 am to 11.30 am.
Cofek will mount its 51st Consumer Dialogue Forum (CDF) focusing on Kenya’s nuclear power program, benefits of the technology to Kenya, its’ challenges and mitigation measures as well as interventions.
Kilifi County has been identified as one of the potential areas to host Kenya’s first nuclear plant.
Accordingly, stakeholder sensitization, education and awareness creation remains critical in earning broader understanding and buy-in towards realization of the nuclear power programme’s objectives.
Cofek has a few slots for interested nuclear power experts, students and practitioners to express interest to participate.
Residents, environmental and consumer organizations leadership is encouraged to express interest to participate the physical meeting – which is strictly by invitation.
A zoom link will be shared for those who would like to participate virtually.
If you feel strongly that you ought to be invited to the physical forum, please email Cofek asap: hotline@cofek.africa or admin@cofek.co.ke
