The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Mr Renson Mulele Ingonga has directed the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to process and present 8 former of officials of the Geothermal Development Company (GDC) on Tuesday, September 24 for their plea-taking on corruption related charges.
In a letter dated September 19, 2024 and signed by ODPP’s Senior Principal Prosecution Counsel Duncan Ondimu, the DPP directions coincide with the MCAC No. 20 of 2015 matter scheduled for the same date.
The 8 are former GDC MD Silas Masinde Simiyu and current Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA) Director General Dr Bruno Mugambi Linyiru.
Others are Abraham Kipchirchir Saat, Peter Ayodo Omenda., Praxidis Namoni Saisi, Caleb Indiasi Mbayiand Michael Maingi Mbevi
