Huduma services to be paid for, new public CS Moses Kuria announces

There won’t be free services at the 52 Huduma Centres across the country, Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has announced.

Speaking when took over from Aisha Jumwa, Mr Kuria said the fee will be charged on both government and private sector services.

Huduma Centres must be self-sustaining. They must generate their own revenue, he said

Mr Kuria pointed out that the centres have for long depended on funding from the Exchequer but they want to change that.
